Interest in contributing to the next Seamless Showcase?
This September Seamless will be hosting another sustainable fashion showcase and we are currently looking for exciting new labels, artists and designers. The spring fair will coincide with West End Love Fest and Brisbane Fringe Festival and held in West End. Once again our focus is to promote sustainable and emerging fashion in Brisbane to fashionistas, retailers and the general public, to celebrate making educated decisions about WHAT we wear and WHERE it comes from. Whether its for boys, girls, mamas or papas, it could be accessories, clothes or vintage collections, we are putting the call out far and wide!
So if your label THINKS before it creates, REUSES materials or sources ETHICAL or local manufacturing we would LOVE to hear from you. Tell us HOW your designs contribute to a fairer future and send a link or short bio to antillstephanie@gmail.com today. Feel free to ask any questions and pass the word xxxx
Get a Dress, Save a life on the 21st of April!
Not sure what do this weekend? Well the Seamless team have got that covered.
Under a Tree Clothing Exchange is happening this Saturday in New Farm.
You can get swap one of your unwanted outfits for a fabulous new one, catch up with friends, sip tea and all the while you can feel good about yourself because by attending the event you are helping to put a stop to sex slavery in Cambodia. I don’t think your weekend can get any better than that. Bring your friends and make sure you say hi to us there too!
See you there.
Love,
The Seamless team

Seamless
This video was created by Lis Harvey (Nico Underwear) and her dedicated sister to represent how each featured designer integrates sustainability into their practice. Filmed for the night it asks each designer why they think sustainable fashion is important and where they think the industry is going.
